THANK YOU! I am the afghan's creator, Dan, and this pattern is one of my favorites. It's all done in single crochet, and such a satisfying pattern to make. This color combination just came out of nowhere. I didn't seriously plan it beforehand, I just thought these two colors were complimentary.
